Tanzania Specialist was founded in 2015 by Dutch entrepreneur Robbin Meulemans and Tanzanian guide and entrepreneur Epimark Bernard. We offer specialized private tours in Tanzania, and our English-speaking safari and tour guides provide you with unique travel experiences and memories to last a lifetime.
Our mission has been the same from day one: to provide travelers with the best possible Tanzania experience. This applies to every aspect of the Tanzania travel experience. From tailor-made Tanzania itineraries that meet all requirements, to the five-star lodges and other safari accommodation options included on Tanzania Specialist tours. In fact, we partner with over 100 hotels and lodges across Tanzania, all of which are personally reviewed by our team of on-site professionals.
The founders of Tanzania Specialist: Robbin Meulemans and Epimark Bernard
Robbin Meulemans and his wife fell in love with the magic of Tanzania after just one unforgettable trip to Tanzania, and it didn’t take them long to realize that there was a need in the market for high-quality private travel. Seeing a huge shortage of high-quality private tour operators in the country, Robbin teamed up with one of Tanzania’s top safari and luxury guides: Epimark Bernard . Over the next few years, Tanzania Specialist has attracted thousands of clients from all over the world to Tanzania’s lush lands. The company now has 300 full-time employees in Arusha and the Netherlands. Today, the Meulemans divide their time between Tanzania and the Netherlands, while Epimark manages the Tanzania office.
Tanzania Specialist has two offices in Europe and Tanzania. Our European headquarters are located in the Netherlands, while our Tanzanian headquarters are located in Arusha. The fact that we operate a professional local business, while our headquarters are located in Europe, gives our clients complete peace of mind when booking their dream adventure in Tanzania.
When you book with Tanzania Specialist, you can be completely confident that we are available 24/7, all year round. Tanzania Specialist is fully accredited and approved under the Dutch SGR (ATOL in the UK ) , which secures all online payments. More questions? Please contact a member of our team.
When it comes to trips that are high on your wish list, it’s always better to deal directly with the tour operator. And when considering a completely tailor-made holiday in Africa, it’s important to deal with trusted experts. At Tanzania Specialist, we pride ourselves on our dedication to customer service. Why do we? Because our mission is to make every visitor’s experience in Tanzania as unforgettable as possible.
Although we do not offer travel insurance directly, we have partnered with an exceptional provider that we highly recommend: Chapka Travel Insurance . Chapka offers comprehensive coverage tailored to solo travelers, groups, and families.
With Chapka, you get a tailor-made service, so you only pay for what you need during your Tanzania adventure. From pre-trip preparations to on-site emergencies – Chapka has you covered 24/7.
